Refund and Returns

We want every purchase to feel like a safe one. Below you’ll find how and when you can return something you’ve bought from HOT STEEL SDN. BHD.

1. Eligibility Period

You have 7 calendar days from the delivery date to ask for a return, so long as the product is:

  • Still unused and in its original state, with every tag intact.
  • Returned in the packaging it came in, along with manuals, accessories, and any free gifts.
  • Backed by valid proof of purchase, like an order number or invoice.

2. Items We Cannot Accept

  • Perishable goods such as food and fresh items.
  • Personal care products (cosmetics, skincare, undergarments) that have been opened.
  • Made-to-order or customised products.
  • Digital downloads and gift cards.
  • Listings flagged as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable.”

3. Starting Your Return

  1. Email [email protected] and include your order number, photos, and why you’d like to return the item.
  2. Expect a reply within 2 business days containing a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  3. Securely package the product with the RA number visible, then ship it to the address we provide.

4. How Refunds Are Handled

Once we’ve received your return and checked it over (typically 3–5 business days), we’ll update you on the decision. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within:

  • Online Banking / Bank Transfer: 3–7 business days
  • Credit / Debit Card: 7–14 business days, subject to your issuing bank
  • E-Wallet: 1–5 business days

5. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Orders

If what you received is damaged, defective, or simply the wrong item, let us know within 48 hours of delivery and attach photos. We’ll organise a replacement or a full refund, covering return shipping, at no expense to you.

6. Who Pays for Return Shipping

  • Returns you initiate (change of mind, wrong size): the return shipping cost is on you.
  • Mistakes on our end (wrong, faulty, or damaged goods): we’ll cover the shipping.

7. Your Legal Rights

Nothing here takes away from the rights granted to you under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or the Sale of Goods Act 1957.
